Nope I just got halfway through answering the questions and then an emergency in the kitchen popped up, didn't refresh before continuing, as an apology I shall respond:

    Are you digging DST?

who does the domestic chores in the house, you, your spouse, or do you pretty much equally divide them?

my attic is insulated to R-46, do I need more?
    1) DST is only compounding my jetlag from returning from China. Now I really don't know what time it is or used to be.
    2) equally divide in the sense that we just bought a house and the line between vacuuming DIY projects and actually using a contractor is so blurred in terms of who OK's a job well done that well I'm not willing to admit she's completely the boss.
    3) Only if you're in antartica, btw be sure to check the attic for moisture. That much insulation without proper outside air can turn the entire thing into a mold breeding ground.

    Questions:
    1) Store bought pumpkin pie, heat it, eat it or trash it?
    2) Which relative used to bring the jello with marshmellow topping? You know the one with fruit in it that no kid every ate anything but the topping?
    3) Whats the longest that turkey breast ever made it in your house as a leftover?

    1. Eat it. I haven't come across that many pumpkin pies that I didn't want to eat abd this includes some iffy store bought ones. I think I have a "I Break for Pumpkin Pie" bumper sticker somewhere.
    2. Dunno, probably, my aunt, my father's sister, since she seems to bring the type of desserts that no one wanted to eat, but sometimes did, you know, manners, or should I say, holiday hypocrisy.
    3. 3 days, maybe?

    1. There's has to be that one thing that you wanted as a gift during the holidays as a kid that you never got? What was it and do you still want it now? :P
    2. You're being paid to travel and take pictures and write about it. Where would you go and what event will it be?
    3. What makes a movie funny? What makes one unfunny?

    1. i liked houses. all kinds. i wanted a smurf house, an ewok house, barbie dream house and never got them. i did get a hello kitty house and some generic house that was just ok, but i wanted more. i don't really care to have them anymore though. oh, but my husband got the smurf house when he was a kid and his mom saved it so now my daughter has that one and the hello kitty house that my mom saved.
    2. i'd love to get paid to travel to either ireland or prague. i'd take pictures of the countrysides and old buildings. try the local liquors. no particular event that i can think of though...
    3. clever, good jokes. forced acting and cliches.

    1. there's a giant spider on your ceiling that you can't reach, would you sleep in the room anyway? or would it bug you too much?
    2. any hockey players whose twitter updates you enjoy reading?
    3. who has the nhl's most annoying fans, collectively?

I'm in climate zone 6. It is ventilated properly. When we had the place built the blown in cellulose was R-49 ish, but has settled over the 5 years since it was built.

    1. Unless it's as big as my hand, lol, it wouldn't really bother me too much. I don't have arachnophobia and I figure that there's always a bug that we don't see so it's better not to obsess over it. Besides, I am a dude, and dudes are not supposed to be afraid of spiders or admit to it. It's cute if you're a red haired dude in wizard school to be 'fraid of spide's, otherwise, not so much.

    2. I have been on twitter a few months, and so far, mostly use it to post b.s (worse, lol, than what I post here). And I really haven't gotten around to following any NHL player's feeds, just general hockey feeds. I wouldn't know where to start. Maybe, I should start with following Kings players, feeds? Hahaha. I'll do that soon.

    3. It's a cliche, but these days, I think it's the Canucks. I could list other fan bases, but, you know, despite the Kings losing last year in the first round, it was following the playoff year when so many people where on the 'anyone, but the Canucks' train.

    1. Semi odd topic/subject that you geek over constantly?

    2. What character from a movie or television show could you play and play better than the actor who portrayed said character?

    3. Something that you want to learn how to cook or make better than you do now?

    1. Hockey jerseys: team jersey history / logos / accent and colors on jerseys / how RBK has screwed up 98% of NHL jerseys

    2. Gilligan (ok, Bob Denver) on Gillligan's Island. I would have been all over that Ginger action.

    3. My kitchen skills are pretty much limited to weekend waffles, but that's all due to the incredible waffle iron we have - and bisquik rocks. One thing I'd like to make better is soups and chilis - the slow cook/all day crockpot type.

    The new 3 ?s:

    1. What is your least favorite thing to do around the house/apartment - the thing you put off till the last possible minute (laundry, cleaning, yard work, dishes, etc.)

    2. Why is the 6 volt battery SOOoooooo much bigger than the 9 volt? How can this be?

    3. What is your dream car? If you already own it, post a pic for the rest of the class.

    1. Waking up.
    2. The 9 volt doesn't need to make itself look bigger, it has the confidence to know that it is better than the 6 volt. 6 volt wrapped a cucumber with foil.
    3. One that runs on the shattered dreams on Montreal Canadians fans. Honestly, I dont have a dream car, I have a dream guitar though.

    1. How is it going to be when you dont love me anymore?
    2. Who is your favorite guitarist of all time.
    3. Would you walk 500, then would you walk 500 more?

    1. Sad and lonely.
    2. My favorite person who plays guitar is PJ Harvey.
    3. No. I hate exercise.

    1. Have you ever met someone you thought of as a personal hero?

    1. Yeah, some writers and artists. And I mean 'meet' in a general way. I didn't hang out with them or anything.
    2. Quite a bit. I have gotten used to being in front of a crowd, but still get nervous. It's one of things that's never going to go away completely, well, unless booze is around.
    3. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. I am fickle like that.
