Well here's a picture of the chicken and dumplings for you, good ol' american tastiness

1) With as many times as I've been to HK, no I just haven't as an adult. In middle school I did make a pair of jeans I actually wore in home ec. Every time I think of getting this done I remember all the Indians in TST asking "Suit, copy watch, copy bag".
2) I would ski, and then lounge for long bits of time. Early morning runs are fun, but i'm not such a diehard to stay on the runs when there's a crowd and it gets all chopped up.
3) Hard to say, I tend to gravitate back to musicals now honestly. It's more my background music rather than putting on my old metal, rap or punk CD's. As much as I love my Metallica garage days album I can only listen to it out of earshot of my almost 3 yo who is definitely picking up all kinds of words I don't need to explain. I don't need stress when I'm listening to music, just something to go along with.

1: Tater tots? Wow when was the last time anyone else had those? I'm kinda craving it now
2: Tim Hortons, tried it recently (honestly it was an airport experience) and I get it, but I don't get it. It's like a bagel, dunkin donuts combo?
3: Best brewery tour I should try the next time I'm in the LA area?

Someone should buy Lunchie 2 skeins of cashmere yarn for socks ($37.50 a skein) I saw and then have knit her some so she can have cashmere on her feet and clothes that were custom made. I thought $75 for yarn to make 1 pair of socks and then going to the trouble of knitting them was a bit ridiculous.

DO IT! I can't knit or I'd make them myself. i know one pair of knickers I have were $250 before I got them on sale. I had cashmere slippers, too, that i got as a gift but they wore out. cashmere on feet isn't so great, I guess... there's currently a sale on cashmere leggings for $300 (originally $750). made in the USA (much better quality than made in china). i'd get them but I've got a bunch of other expenses right now. :(

I like Asian dumplings better but I can see how chicken and dumplings can be a comfort food.

Yeah my first thought was that cashmere socks would be a bit ridiculous because they're going to get dirty and odds are they were going to get holes. Plus I have a pair of socks I've been knitting myself for a year now. I've finished one at least.

That picture showed me that chicken and dumplings looks nothing like I had in mind. Learn something new everyday, eh?

And someone should make me cashmere flipper gloves for my birthday. Been getting cold these days and regular gloves don't fir me.

1. Actually, I tend to eat Tater Tots every now and then, lol! I know a lot of people, for whatever reason, stop eating them when they leave school, but frozen tater tots tend to have a place in my refrigerator. And they could be had as a dinner side dish and not just for breakfast. Actually, to tell the truth, I am a bit of a tater fiend in general.
2. I really don't get it either, but then again, I really don't get Starbucks either. I kinda like Dunkin Donuts more, but alas, we don't have them on this coast anymore. :( Dunno, I am a coffee fiend (I am fiendish for many things), but a lot of these coffee places, I guess, are good more as social gathering places, going alone to them, as I tend to do, means long lines with overpriced coffee. Meh.
3. Other peeps on this board could probably weigh in on that better than me. *shrugs* I do envy people who are wine/liquor/beer aficionados who indulge in alcohol tastefully, visit breweries, read about the history of different brands, and are able to talk in length about what makes a beer better than another. In my life, I have drank a lot not because I am passionate about alcohol, but because I am sick in the head, lol! I don't visit breweries or know much about the culture of these things. *shrugs*

2. I was inspired to start this thread here because I have seen others like it on other boards and thought that it would be amusing. However, I am surprised to have learned a few things about some of the users here. Has that happened to you too? If so do you have one example of something you were surprised to learn about a user/s on this site?

1. I'd try Clean My PC on my co-workers computer. Ha! Eat ****, ****er!
2. Umm... well, I love the strawberry lemonade at Red Robin, but they call it a Freckled Lemonade and I ****ing hate that and feel like asking for it like that would be girly, so I always order a strawberry lemonade.
3. No. Unless I'm afraid a show is going to sell out, I'll wait until it's closer to the day of the show. I've bought way too many tickets and then not used them for me to continue.

1. well my favorite band, thrice, just went on hiatus, so i'd say them. take back that "we're going on hiatus" message and get back in the studio, dudes.
2. while presence and energy are definitely important, i've seen shows where there's a lot of showmanship put into the set, but the sound is s*** and it ruins the experience for me. it might just be me, because it doesn't seem to bother the masses. attracted to shiny things, you know... i can also enjoy some of my favorite rock musicians' acoustic sets where presence might still exist, but energy is even less important, but sound definitely becomes even more important. so sound, please.
3. i don't know if it's because i'm a female, but i'm magnetized to lead male singers quite often. drummers get the least love from me so i don't really have a favorite, but i guess i would go with josh freese. very talented and well respected amongst his peers.

1. No. And yes, that one you bought is kinda ugly lol.
2. Oh God, almost everywhere. Since I was young when I wanted my parents to tickle my feet...and it remains the same. I love to be tickled everywhere. Except maybe on the sides of my torso...unless I really trust the person won't poke me under the ribs. Because of all this, I tend to think I was a cat in my beforelife. Cats are similar...love to get currycombed, but on their belly they usually let only their trustee to tickle them.
