1. Not gonna lie, early Madonna still rules. Can't say I really have a favorite of those, tho. I'll think about this a bit more.
2. Sharks. Even just a simple picture. Can't do it. I'm kind of a worrywort (is that the word?) so I don't know that there's anything I should be afraid of that I'm not.
3. Sort of middle of the road, but really, they all suck.

1. Paris. every time I've been there, it's felt like home. I love big cities, the food there is great and it's the perfect combination of big city life and leisure. I've also contemplated temporary life in the pacific nw, San Francisco or NYC but I'm not cut out for life there forever.

2. probably no one. but my husband. I'd probably give some to my parents without saying where it came from so I can repay them for some help (college) and help them out a bit but I find that in general, when people know you have a windfall, they act differently around you.

3. 81 miles. I only moved to oc for college and I never moved back.

1. Last night spent NYE with a smallish group of friends at a house party. Watched the Kings game, talked of good times, and then there was karaoke.
2. God, so much. For food there was meatballs, lechon, lumpia, sate, and some other dishes I don't know know the names of. For drinks I stuck with beer (Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale, Lagunitas Sucks, DBA, and Jubelale).
3. Worst memory? I dunno. Feeling like an idiot after a few nights of being drunk and out of control. It cost me a very good friendship. Best memory? Patching things up with said friend last night, birth of my second nephew, any time spent with my nephews, getting into photography more. I'm sure I've forgotten some things but I'm still recovering from last night, what do you want from me?

1. I was skeptical and am still skeptical. A string of good games does not a season make. However, so far with what I have seen, I remain hopeful.

2. Pleasantly surprised. K&T has mastered the art of leaving them wanting more. Either that of she's just a karma chameleon who comes and goes.

3. You know, for a long time, I wanted to have a veggie garden. It might be therapeutic for me to have a green thumb. Or is that a green flipper?

whoa, it's a bad91 sighting! looks like all the cool people are here to welcome in the new year.

1. no. it'll sound bad, but i'm cynical and i've heard too many stories where there've been people who aren't homeless but they make a killing hanging out on the street all day, pretending to be homeless and asking for money. also, i'd rather they buy food than the drugs or booze they'll most likely end up buying with the money i give them. i have thought of giving them food, but a lot of the time i don't have any on me unless i went to the store specifically to get something i needed for home. i sleep ok at night knowing i drop a fair chunk of change on charity every year though.
2. kings game back in 1996 or '97. i forget but i did post the date and score of my first kings game somewhere in this thread. my parents weren't the type to go to baseball or football games and it wasn't until both my brother and i discovered hockey and really wanted to go that they took us.
3. seattle, philly or maine. maybe boston. i've been in the airport on a layover once, but didn't have time to venture out.

2. what's better living? a place with 4 seasons and snow or the nice, typically 70 degree weather of california?

2. I don't know if I like it better, but living in a place with 4 distinct seasons would be interesting to experience as a change. I mean I do fantasize about living someplace like New England for a year and experience a full blown snow winter with cabin fever and all! :D

3. Um, yeah, it's kinda a bit of a requirement for me.

Silly jokes aside, I used to assume that everyone, more or less knew how to swim, but I learned that I was incorrect in my assumptions. I am incorrect about a lot of things.

1. Introvert or extrovert? Are you happy with it? Have you tried to being more/less intro/extroverted and has it worked?
2. Ever met someone famous or a person that you admired that left you starstruck or did you keep your cool?
3. Something that you are really into say a book, band, movie, that seems unlike what you usually enjoy?

Orphy you aren't the only one dumbfounded at adults that didn't know how to swim. You learn something every day.

1) I'd say I'm more on the introvert side in general but I'm not afraid to voice opinions professionally. I will say international travel will make you more extroverted. I'm totally willing to strike up a conversation with anyone that looks like they can carry on a conversation with me that isn't about business when I'm out of the country. I'm at peace with myself so I'm not worried about being more or less, just trying to fit situations better all the time. There are times when it definitely helps to not draw attention.
2) Walter Payton back when I was about 10. He was at the Long beach grand prix and had crashed out of the trans am race he was in. I stalked his trailer and he was outside talking with his crew. I went totally catatonic. My mom kind of waved at him and he came over took my card out of my hand and asked me if I wanted him to sign it. I think I did something cuz he did, then he ruffled my hair and I hope I thanked him. Since then I've met famous people but nobody that ever made me totally lose it like that.
3) Its a horrible admission but I'm a sucker for girl pop songs. Katy Perry or Taylor Swift get on the radio and yeah I sing along. I don't buy the music (mainly cuz they're on the radio so much there's no need to) but I'll probably not change the station. I think its part of my love for musicals in general. Not sure which but I don't deny it.

1) Is there a college bowl game that you just seem to watch every year regardless of the participants? Would you be mad if they actually got a playoff and you couldn't watch it anymore?
2) Have you ever done the Rose Parade? Would you do it again? Every Year?
3) Whats the longest it's taken you to take down the Christmas stuff (tree and the lights)?
