at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

Hahaha.. no.. My husband is a bass player... On a side note.. he's been backstage at a Rush show before and was standing near him (never met him personally though). He got to go on stage before one of the shows... talk about a drum set... 24k gold plated hardware on the drum set.. .man..Lemme guess? That bass player is Geddy Lee? He's so dreamy.
