Put them in a shopping cart and take them to 6th and Broadway.

I wouldn't sell them individually or you'll be shipping 600 packages on Ebay. I'd package them as one group. If no takers then break into smaller groups. BIN's can bring 10-20% or so above recent completed sales because many Ebayers don't want to wait for an auction to end. Lowest shipping price is USPS flate rate Priority boxes. Buyers may neg you if you overcharge on shipping.

The annoying part is, it isn't like my DVDs gathering dust in my closet are HURTING me, so I don't feel inclined to get rid of them for like the 25-50 cents Amazon is offering me. On the flip-side though, I am just annoyed with most of them at this point.
Let me add a third answer to this, to possibly confuse you further.

If you've got the time and the inclination, take some time to look at completed auctions for the same DVDs you're selling. See what they went for before you list anything and decide if it's worth the bother. If you're looking to sell your bare bones/regular Matrix discs, don't even bother with eBay. There's a ton of those and they go cheap. If you've got some super special edition of something or, say, a Criterion disc you're planning to get rid of, then it might be worth it. Check the completed listing and you should get an idea of the range your auction might end up in.

Don't be afraid to sell the DVDs in lots, either in a good size quantity or if the lots make sense. Got 10 Denzel Washington discs? Might be worth a try to sell them bundled, although, again, if you've just got bare bones, regular releases it might still not be worth the trouble.

And the most important tip I can give you for eBay: Description, description, description. If you're trying to sell a DVD on eBay, make the description as detailed as you can, with the names of every star listed somewhere, the director, the... ****, the cinematographer, the soundtrack composer... eBay gives you lots of room and information like that can only help. Obviously, it's up to you whether or not it's worth the time to type (or copy/paste) all that **** out, but keep that in mind. The more info you include, the more likely it will show up in someone else's search, the more likely you'll get a bid.

Other than that, I agree with lagwagon.
