The theory I heard is that the Taisusopo guy is the of Te'o. Te'o is now claiming that he was the victim of a hoax. Yeaaah, no. Better come clean now before you bury yourself deeper, kid. Whatever it is, the truth will now definitely come out. Lots of news organizations are not only going to be covering a huge story, but will be trying to make up for the fact that they published all that BS in the first place. They're not letting go of this juicy bone until there is nothing left. They're going to be interviewing his pre-school classmates.

In any case, Lance Armstrong owes this kid big time.

His draft stock just dropped hard, teams put a big plus on being a solid leader.

I'm full of interesting and plausible theories.

Well I hate to say it but his draft stock probably wasn't that high to begin with. He was missing a ton of tackles this year, not just in the championship game. Very good collegiate player no doubt, he's definitely not the top LB on the board though before this happened.

Before the Championship Game, he was considered virtually unanimously to be a Top 10 pick in the upcoming NFL draft. One bad game after a month layoff certainly didn't help his cause, but it wasn't likely to make him fall too far either. This likely will.

Something does not smell right. Girlfriend, but never met her? If he did meet her, then why was that photo of someone else? Dude is burying his own sick grave.

I wasn't watching the mock drafts but I think at linebacker alone Jarvis Jones, CJ mosely and Jelani Jenkins are all going to have huge athletic superiority and turn more heads. Teo was constantly spoken of as a leader of the defense but all the analysts knew that he was being dropped back in coverage or to blow up lead blockers for the safeties to make the tackles when they brought men into the box. As far as tackling goes Teo missed more of them this season than in years past. The whole defense however was better though.
