There was a story about the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter in the linked page above.
I've been watching it the last several weeks, and it's beautiful. They are located low in the Western sky after nightfall; tonight is their closest spacing, and a line drawn between them is almost horizontal.
If you are so inclined, take the time to sneak a peek. These are the two brightest nighttime objects, other than the moon.
