B/c I was stating the obvious and didn't realize he was joking or what? And yes, I know they "originate" from the sun when a cornal mass ejection (sounds kinky) eventually collides w/ earths magnetic field and blah blah blah......science takes care of the rest. I don't need to go into all those details I'm sure.
But last time I did check, we're in the northern hemisphere and not even close to the equator or south of it where you wouldn't see the northern lights.
But I'm sure saticlaws comment was just a smart ass one that I didn't let go.
What will the flares do to Uranus?
