    He won the world flying championship in the end. And he jumped this far without the buoyancy wind, but with some wind in his back (heh heh). He was just 2 meters short of world record, 246m.

    On a related note, do you remember any USA ski jumpers? Have you ever watched this sport? I only remember Alan Alborn...who is the record holder for USA. Though USA is currently among the best at women ski jumping.

    (I posted this here because "other sports" section is more deserted than just about anything on this board.)

    at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.
