Outdoor wedding places
The wench and I are looking for an outdoorsy place to get hitched. So far, we have looked at Pickwick Gardens, Doctors House, Descanso Gardens, and Huntington Library. Two of these places are out of our budget (Huntington at 30 grand????). Pickwick is our top choice, but still are looking.
Any one has a better suggestion? Please keep it local, preferably the SGV area. Thanks.
Oh, we're also going to look at the Arboretum in Arcadia soon.
Thanks all!

I got married at the outdoor retreat in Mission Viejo area. It is the one that is just west of the 5 where they have the wisemen on the side of the hill during Christmas. it is owned by the Catholics now. Really pretty grounds with a small chapel, a lake and other facilities.
PM me if you need more info.
What is his name, I am happy for the both of you.

What hotel in on the beach in Hunting Beach? A friend of mine got married there and had the reception @ the Golf Course just up the coast. Pretty sure it wasn't crazy expensive.

The gazebo in Laguna Beach is where the wife and I got married last year. The sound of the waves and the wonderful weather was nothing short of amazing.

Riverside Inn used to have some pretty famous ones. Don't know if they still do anymore though. Hey and Congrats on the upcoming nups.

Not close geopraphically, sorry, but I got married at the Summit House in Fullerton. In December. It was beautiful. As long as your guest list tops out around 100, it's a tremendous place to get married. Great view, awesome food, easy to get in and out of.

Holcomb Valley, Big Bear.
Free and beautiful

Bailey Canyon Park in Sierra Madre. They used to do this type of stuff and could allow a beer and wine permit for about 35 bucks on top of the reserved area fees. Not sure how it is now, but it is damn close to you Mark.
but personally, the court house in Independence, CA and a reception in the park across the street with the wild trout stream is my first choice.

L.A. Royal Vista Golf Course. Outdoor Gazebo, big private dining room, food is good, and the bartenders are talented. Parking can be a problem if it's during the day
