Peter Frampton's Prized Guitar Found Over 30 Years After Plane Crash - Spinner

What a cool story. Frampton Comes Alive is one of the best live albums ever (Foghat Live the other).
We saw Frampton several years ago at the OC Fair, and he still puts on a great show - although he looks like an accountant now, not a rocker.
That gives me hope that might find that toy wind up guitar from my childhood that I lost. mhihi:
Oh, but seriously, cool story. :good:
We saw him last summer when he played Frampton Comes Alive from start to finish (plus about 30 minutes more of new stuff). He was awesome - dude can still rock.
point of contention... now i don't mind Frampton or Frampton Comes Alive, but he most certainly does NOT make his guitar talk.
and it is beyond annoying when people say he does. as far as i know, the closest anyone has ever gotten to actually making a guitar "talk" without any external device whatsoever was Alvino Rey... about 30-years before the invention of the talk box.
see: Adrian Belew re: making guitar "talk".....or at least, emulate animals talking :)
Good for Frampton! by all accounts he is a pretty good guy.
