1900:“The Great Paris Exhibition Telescope with a 1.25 m diameter lens was the largest refracting telescope ever constructed. When the year-long exposition was over, The company which had organized in build the telescope declared bankruptcy and were unable to sell it. It was ultimately broken up for scrap; the lenses are still stored away at the Paris Observatory.”

“Detroit Electric was produced by the Anderson Electric Car Company Production of the electric automobile, powered by a rechargeable lead acid battery, began in 1907. The cars reliably got 80 miles (130 km) between battery recharging.

“The Detroit Electric was mainly sold to women drivers and physicians who desired the dependable and immediate start without the physically demanding hand cranking. Production was at its peak in the 1910s selling around 1000-2000 cars a year.

“The Gare Montparnasse became famous for the derailment on 22 October 1895 of the Granville–Paris Express, which overran the buffer stop. The engine careered across the station concourse, crashed through a thick wall, shot across a terrace and smashed out of the station, plummeting onto the Place de Rennes. Two of the 131 passengers sustained injuries, along with the fireman and two conductors. A woman on the street below was killed by falling masonry. A conductor was given a 25-franc fine and the engine driver a 50-franc fine.”

Which is funny becasue I work for the Army on Ft. Lee here in Va. where Anzio Anne, Krupp K5 (E) has been on display since they moved her from Aberdeen Proving Ground back in 09'.

(Someone needs to edit the Wiki Page to reflect that Anzio Anne is no longer at A.P.G. and now resides at Fort Lee, Virginia)

No, sadly I don't know, but I CAN confirm that this is the first time out of the millions of times I've looked at the photo, and it looked more like the puck is being propelled out of Osgood's pooper. Meanwhile, Luc's expression is one of joy, and also seemingly of discomfort, as is to say "did he really put that puck so far in the back of the net, that it shot out, into Osgood's pooper, and then back out again?? Ouch!"

And during all that, he's also doing a terrific job impersonating Jozef Stumpel.
