Firstly I am not sure what your point is with regards to Bavaria? Bavaria is not a country, also Adolf Hitler never invaded Bavaria, that is a big WTF right there, Bavaria was a state of Germany when Hitler came to power so there was obviously no need to "invade" it. The other WTF part is that Bavaria was/is not in East Germany and was never administered by Russians so how this all relates to BMW is a bit of a head scratcher.
I stand corrected, I had to unlearn my rotten history from 50 years ago and relearn what really happened. At least we have the internet today that is a great tool in finding the truth...Wiki.

"Eisner was assassinated in February 1919 ultimately leading to a Communist revolt and the short-lived Bavarian Socialist Republic being proclaimed 6 April 1919. After violent suppression by elements of the German Army and notably the Freikorps, the Bavarian Socialist Republic fell in May 1919. The Bamberg Constitution (Bamberger Verfassung) was enacted on 12 or 14 August 1919 and came into force on 15 September 1919 creating the Free State of Bavaria within the Weimar Republic. Extremist activity further increased, notably the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch led by the National Socialists, and Munich and Nuremberg became Nazi strongholds under the Third Reich"

"Bavarians have often emphasized a separate national identity and considered themselves as "Bavarians" first, "Germans" second.[5] This feeling started to come about more strongly among Bavarians when the Kingdom of Bavaria joined the Protestant Prussian-dominated German Empire while the Bavarian nationalists wanted to keep Bavaria as Catholic and an independent German state. Besides the minority Bavaria Party, most Bavarians accept that Bavaria is part of Germany. The Rhenish Palatinate was detached from Bavaria in 1946 and made part of the new state Rhineland-Palatinate. During the Cold War, Bavaria was part of West Germany."

Much like most Tibetans accept they are part of China....

Alright I've said enough. I feel the flag is a snub at Germany and I'm happy with that.

Not really sure what all that has to do with a BMW car, but always nice to learn history.

And, just for the sake of perspective:

Texans have often emphasized a separate national identity and considered themselves as "Texans" first, "'Muricans" second.

Well it's not really like China and Tibet.

    From your own wiki quote:
Besides the minority Bavaria Party, most Bavarians accept that Bavaria is part of Germany.
I would think most Tibetans do not accept that Tibet is a part of China. A lot of Germans don't like Bavaria, imo they don't like them for the wrong reasons, envy being a rather large part of it.

Well if you don't like the car because it is made in Bavaria then that is your prerogative, you probably should have just said that at the start.

I would beg to differ and say the following vehicle is the best. I don't know why though.
