RIP....read the book "they call me dirty" years ago that up to that point was his bio. He was also in Porkys along with his wife, who was also his wife is real life.

Odd, that at the end he will always be known for Mongo. Life is strange.

Just a side note: Karras was on the field playing for the Lions (# 71) when Tom Dempsey, the Saints kicker kicked the record setting 63 yard field goal.
