Alex Karras, Detroit Lions defensive great, dies at age 77 - ESPN
You can argue that this belongs on the NFL page, but I disagree, I think Karras was more known for Mongo and as being the father on Webster than he ever was as a football player.
I saw the other day that he was knocking on death's door.
