Make sure you call them and ask for them to refund you for the down time. Sure it will only be a couple o bucks, but hopefully they will see that more and more people do this. They will want to get it together eventually.

For sure. Tried calling today and it was impossible to get through. I even called the Downey Verizon cell phone store for the hell of it but, of course, they are two different companies and they had no idea what was going on.

I feel your pain Winsomemore. Verizon SUCKS.

I had this problem a few months back. They claimed they were "upgrading" their network. The internet was down for days. Calling them is pointless because you have to jump through so many hoops just to speak to someone from India. Then when you get to a human to talk to, they treat you like you're mentally retarded with the simplest of troubleshooting problems.

But anyway, on Friday night.. my internet went down from 11:00 PM to 3 AM. Then on Saturday, it was off and on for like 2-3 minutes every couple of hours... that's really unacceptable. Today (Sunday), before I headed out to Summerslam... the internet was down again.

    three words: dslextreme dot com

as I've said before, I am in the Verizon zone. getting dslextreme to hook me up in the middle of it was a cakewalk. and since then (2 years now) I have not experienced any downtime.

I am still fixated on the Nixon video, lol!

LGK deserves to know if their resident dolphin is a drunk, well, I am not a drunk.

No, but seriously, verizon sucks so much. If it isn't one thing is another. And you can read War and Peace when they put you on hold. The dolphin is not amused.

We switched to FiOS in June and I hadn't noticed any problems until about an hour ago. Had to reset the router to get an internet signal (and that takes longer than any other modem/router we've ever had). Then about 20 minutes after that, the internet and tv signal went out for a minute or so at the same time. At least the internet came back up without having to reset the router.

There's a huge disconnect between the technicians that have a problem and are working on it and the customer service section. The least they could do is have a message at the tech support number saying there is a problem in a specific area. Sometimes they do but this last time there wasn't. And, when I talked to the guy in India his system was down and asked me to call back in two hours.
