Ahhh, the old school Barber Shop! The smell of Barbasol and Cigars. Playboys and Hotrod mags on the table. The sound of metal blades on leather. I love those. Try looking for a shop with a barber's pole on it in a old strip mall. I have fond memories of my father taking me to his Barber Shop in the blown GTO, out in old, defunct Sunnymead, Ca back in the early 70's. It was a half day experience. Love'd it.

Speaking of shaving, what brand cream/foam/gel do you'all use?

I shifted from Gillette to Kiehl's White Eagle about 10 years ago and havent looked back. I LOVE it. Its a little on the pricey side but I only shave every 3rd day so it equals out in the end. Its smooth as hell and leaves my skin nice and hydrated. Good Stuff, Try it! I also tried the Mach series razors when they came out about 12 years ago but they just didnt get close enough. Ive stuck with the Sensor X now for about 15 years. It does a good, fast job.

I shave myself, and I actually still use the same stuff my pop taught me to shave with. A can of Barbasol and a Straight Razor.

Props for using a straight razor still. That takes mad sharpening and stropping skills dude. I havent had a straight razor shave in probably 15 years. If its done right with the brush, cream and steamed towels, there's nothing better and it lasts twice as long as a regular shave. No 5pm shadows.

well, I turned 64 last Sun. I've had lots of practice. I will admit I was forced to use a safety razor during boot camp. If it wasn't G.I. issued, you didn't need it.

Well, I hope you dont shave yer ball bag with a straight razor. You'd be hard pressed to see me moving towards my sacky with a straight razor. ugh...just the thought. Curious though, a good buddy of mine has Tourettes. Next time I talk to him I'll ask if he manscapes. Wonder if Micheal J. Fox does?

I have no clue as to where I'm going with this...

I use the Nivea for Men stuff. Sensitive skin versions. Don't laugh. Im just not a fan of all the strong fragrances. I let my cologne smell for me.

I use a Schick Quattro for no other reason than I got a free sample and it worked. Been wanting to try that one razor that Gael Garcia and Andre 3000 were slanging.

Sweeney Todd's on Sunset does a pretty darn good job (plus I like their no cell phones rule).
