As for clothes, Im pretty much a Jeans/Cargo shorts and T-Shirt kindo guy during the summer months. I'll wear flippy floppies around the house but shift over to Tevas when I go out and about. But when Fall and Winter sets in here in Virginia, I shift into Fashon Whore Boy. I LOVE Coats! I own around 25. My fav coat being a Himalayan Shearling Long Coat I bought last season:

I absolutely adore Shearling. Its an obsession really. My wife gives me crap for the fetish but she isnt helping it. Im lucky enough to be married to a true fashionista that has no problem dropping $2k on a friggn handbag every 6 weeks so when I see a Shearling I want...BOOM! Right now I have my eye on this Farragamo Shearling:
But that will blow most of my coat budget for this year. :(
Some of the Faux Shearlings that Liz Claiborne has been putting out for the past few years are AWESOME. I have 2 of them. They're hard to find but you dont need to break the budget to get a really nice one these days. Micro fiber has come a long way.

Soon as I clean it up, I'll shoot pics. My wife uses it for "out of sight, out of mind" storage. If something IN the house is within her line of sight and she doesnt want it in the house proper, she tosses it into the garage and it becomes my problem. Between my major Back Surgery in Spring and its recovery, I havent had a chance to catch up with everything, I just havent had the time to give the ole shop a cleaning since Feb.
Word of advice from someone that has been collecting these things for years would be buy the BEST Chop/Sliding Compound Miter Saw and Table Saw you can afford! If you can wait to buy a better one...do it! These are the cornerstones of a great and expandable shop. All work begins at these tools. Everything else you can cut corners on. $150 Benchtop Jointer? Yep. $120 Benchtop Drill press? Great! $350 Benchtop Planer? Fantastic! If you need to spend $900 on a billy bad ass 12" Sliding Compound De Walt...DO IT! Same with the Table saw. Also, dont chince on the blades! Decent ones start off nice but fail quick. GREAT ones start fantastic and stay that way for YEARS! And when they need a sharpen, take them to get a new edge for cheap. At minimum, I use a Freud Diablo or Forrest WW series.
I'm looking for a cool leather jacket. And nocturn, what the heck is a lingerie cabinet ? Sounds fancy.
This is a cool thread. Thanks guys.
I'll have to post pictures of my wing-tip dress shoes. I get compliments from men and women on the shoes. I just don't know where I can get an exact pair. Once I learn to upload pictures, I'll do it.
lucky woman. i stopped buying handbags when i ran out of room and i had my closet specifically designed so that i had enough shelves to hold some 20 or so fine handbags. i also stopped because i've got a little kid and i don't work anymore so i have less expendable cash for a $1-2000 bag. the nice thing about these bags are that they're really made with quality and i tend to buy timeless classics so something like a ferragamo from the late 80s or an hermes kelly from 1991 that were passed down to me still hold up and look nice today. i plan on passing the bags i've bought down to my daughter.
and did you say lingerie cabinet?! i have so much, it takes up 2 and half drawers in a large dresser. i had no idea people actually kept that stuff in its own cabinet, hahaha...
Handbags? wtf kind of dudes have handbags?
