More that i think about it I guess you wouldn't need that when you can just fire from a jet at work
WTF? Fell to page two??
Glock mods in the works today!! My new G35 has been CHEWING the crap outta the web of my right hand during my pistol matches. "Slide bite..." to the point of having to have first aid after I shoot every stage. I grip the pistol very high to begin with (this is the ONLY manner in which I am PRO GUN CONTROL), but that hasn't been a problem with any of the other Glock pistols I own. So I'm epoxying a beavertail grip adapter to the back strap to keep the chub of my meathook from getting in the way.
I try and avoid actually taping my hand or using moleskin. The feel is so different that it sort of eats at the back of my mind and forces me to think rather than shoot from the subconscious (as Zen Master Brian Enos says I should). That's why I elected to mod the gun instead.
The nice thing about Glock (and other polymer frame weapons) is that you can carve the crap out of them to suit your liking. There are some pretty extreme grip geometry mods that people have done, as well as texture mods, etc. All done with JBWeld as a filler and mistake-fixer. If you **** it up too badly, you can always call Glock. They'll take your old ****ed up frame and exchange it for a new one (with the same serial number, so you don't have to go through another waiting period) for about $50. The catch is that if your frame hits Smyrna, GA on the back end of a production cycle, it could take two months for your replacement frame to return to you.
