It all works out in the end. She gets endless amounts of bags and shoes, I get a endless supply of alcohol and a boat.
Edit: LOL, She calls herself a "Bag Sniper". That woman can tell if a bag is fake from a 1000 feet. Its uncanny. Of course I have no idea whether she's right or wrong but I believe her. I guess it has to do with stiching, patterns (out of symetry?) and other stuff. Who knows? I get a kick out of it. A chick could be standing nekkid in front of us and she would say "Fake bag!" before she would say to me "quit looking at her other fake bags!" lol.
I really want a couple of those jackets they had at the Soul Revolver link. Unholy Goalie, thanks for the link. I would really prefer to try a jacket on though. Last thing I want is to buy a jacket I love and not have it fit correctly.
As for a wallet, I have a Ben Sherman leather card holder/money clip. LOVE it ! Its held up pretty well (4+ years) and keeps me from pulling a George Costanza. I keep only a couple of cards, ID and my Qdoba card.
i, too, can spot a fake from 1000 ft. haha. i've joked about it in home ice before in the jersey threads. i can pretty much spot a fake handbag like some of those guys can spot a fake jersey. for me, it has to do with the quality of leather used, the color of the logos, the hardware... i can tell the subtle and sometimes not so subtle differences.
Why is it that whenever I see Nocturn's Avatar, I can't help and hear, "This is the way step inside!" ;)
Oh, yeah, not to get off topic, I love watches, collecting them and what have. To some guys, lol, watches are what shoes are to women.
This is my latest acquisition. I love "novelty" watches too!
I've never gotten bitten by the watch collecting bug. Actually, quite the opposite - when my last watch finally stopped working I just stopped wearing one altogether. It was quite liberating.
I've always had a soft spot for chukka boots. Just got a nice pair of JD Fisk's similar to these:
Speaking of a Chukkas and Uber-Comfort, man I should add to my Creeper collection...but I hate how friggn large the soles have gotten on them. I mean...THESE are a thing of BEAUTY:
no, no, NO!
Back to the power tools/shop stuff for a sec. Here's a Curly Koa Jewelry box I made for my wife for her 10th Mothers Day present this past Spring. Before I left Hawaii in 05', I snagged a crapload of koa (3000+Bf) for dirt cheap from one of my old distributors in S. Kona. I decided to bookend a few pieces and made this. It has 24K Gold Simi-Quad hinges and a 14K Gold music box that chimes "Somewhere over the Rainbow"... to simulate Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version. Well, my loving, beautiful wife decided to use it to stow some of her her 300 pairs of sunglasses...lol:
Yes Lunchie, Those are Coach, Fendi, Pucci, Gucci, Bradley and my fav, Maui Jims just "thrown" in there with Fam pics... ;)
Edit: And YES! I do need to oil the wood! Sorry for the dullness and dust.
