Nice work, Nocturn! Looks like a humidor. Oh, I'm also immersed in cigars/pipe culture as well as craft beer and let me tell you both of those hobbies can put a dent in your wallet just in regards to accessories.

i don't really wear watches anymore either since i have my phone. i never really enjoyed wearing something on my wrist like that. i also have a tattoo on my left wrist which is the only one i can wear a watch on. (it feels even weirder to have something on my right wrist). i feel like the tattoo is already an accessory, don't need another there.
nice jewelry box. it's a pretty good size and i like how you keep it near the liquor, haha.
Thats whats funny about the jewelry box, She uses it as another "junk drawer". lol. It should be up in the bedroom but she keeps in in the dining room on the bar.

I was saying that when I was in middle school, I wore VANS chukka boots. all black. the men's ones, obviously. actually, I still wear men's shoes when it comes to close-toed casual except now I have Adidas shell toe skate shoes.
I forgot to mention how adorable your 10 yr old's pronunciation of hermès sounds, too. :)
I still wear Vans. I grew up in the hayday of Vans in the 70's and 80's and have stuck with them since. Although I dont wear the old slip-on type. I still wear the sk8er style even though I quit skating about 8 years ago. I also wear Hawks. I usually grab a pair here and there from Kohls. Cant beat the price to comfort ratio.
Your post just reminded me of two brands I hadn't thought of in a while: Vision Streetwear and Airwalk.
Ha! That Jewelry box was based on a humidor design I used to make at work actually. I made them also. I made 2 for Mr. Tom Selleck about 15 years ago for his Black Point road house by Diamond head Crater. I still have quite a few gold plate Hygrometers and Humidifier bars laying around my garage.Quote:

I've got a few Aldo watches that friends and family think look expensive but are less than $50...although most of those people wouldn't know the difference anyways. Dress shoes I always go with Aldo as well...super comfortable and stylish, plus they have some ridiculous online clearance blowouts pretty consistently. Tend to lean towards express for dress shirts and Kohls for dress pants, yes, Kohls.
ooh, on the topic of hermès, another thing i buy a lot of for my husband is neck ties. i've gotten him a bunch from hermès and YSL then i think just one from louis vuitton. the bummer with that though is that his office has gone more casual and they said it's no longer required attire. so now he only wears a tie when he meets with a client, goes to court or has a presentation. it's still often enough to wear what i've bought him but not often enough for me to buy them more than once a year. :(
i know most guys don't like wearing ties, but they look nice and hey... there's a lot of discomfort girls go through to look presentable as well. :)

middle: chanel, with a YSL that's supposed to be behind it but is in use right now, dior, ferragamo, hermès kelly, l.a.m.b., luella.
bottom: LV, dior, luella, with a LV behind it, 3 pradas stacked upon each other, gucci.
and in the drawer below all that are some missoni and hermès scarves, a burberry hat that goes with my burberry trench and some fred perry gloves. :)
i have a bit of an obsession with l.a.m.b. but the design quality has gone down so i haven't bought as much stuff from the line lately.
and now back to man business.
