I saw a pair of those at Walgreen's today and almost bought them. I then remembered why I don't buy the ones without the silicon jelly tips...they make my ear cartilage hurt after about a hour. I think they're way too hard for me (thats what she said).Quote:

I have used custom orthodics and inserts, both work the same for me. I like Sole inserts. You can try Superfeet as well.
Get a pair of Birkenstocks to wear when not working or if you can at work they will help relieve the pain.
They will take a few days to wear in but will work.
If you can't stand them get a pair of Sole Flips they have support and regular wear help.

What has a podiatrist said? I have heel pain which, I was adviced to buy insoles & it's helped a bit. I like the Dr. Scroll's Gel heel support cushions. I would suggest you see a podiatrist and have them give you further advice.Quote:

If you can find their holes, you can try putting dog poop around it and inside of it. That will typically chase them away. If that doesn't work, go Judge Dredd on their asses!
ya, it's a bummer when you have to kill them. they're so cute... but also so destructive.
my parents have had a gopher problem for the longest time and finally got rid of them by sticking a hose down a tunnel and drowning them. it made me sad to hear it, but for my parents, having to redo their garden constantly and fix their lawn because of all the holes was driving them mad. the dead gophers in the hole supposedly made all others relocate far far away.
nocturn, mentioning that you hope the groundhogs don't die under your house reminds me of my parents' neighbor who had a mouse problem because she had some grape vines that she let grow wild in a standard southern california backyard (so we're not talking acres or anything). i'm not sure what she did or didn't do but they all died under her house and caused a horrible stink. blegh.
