WTF? Who takes dirty baby diapers?

I could see them hoping people are throwing away some valuable personal info type stuff mixed in with the diapers. I know in the past we've cut up/shredded some stuff and when it gets thrown out it gets put in with the cat litter because who is going to want to dig through poop?

Must have been the poop fairy...

maybe angryking can do that. thank goodness, they're only taking my paper trash.
i have some weird fixation on being annoyed/paranoid about it though so i wish they'd stop, but after this thread, it's not so bad, i guess.
it also looks trashy when a bunch of junky pick ups are trash scavenging in the supposedly nice neighborhood i live in. it almost feels like our street turns into a sci fi wasteland for a moment.

the cop i talked to did subtley advise that i throw my dog or baby crap into the recyclable trash to discourage them. clearly, he hasn't encountered the baby poop collectors yet...

i don't care about the supposed revenue the city is getting from our recyclables because for us, it's none. we usually take the bottles and cans to retrieve the CRV ourselves. they would just take our paper so for a while, i was paranoid about people trying to steal our identity using our names and address from our discarded mail. so i got a shredder, but even then sometimes i worry that i miss something in my haste to trash stuff. heh.
it was so weird... right about the time right before i got the shredder when i noticed our trash getting stolen, i kept getting bills from a local hospital for someone that doesn't reside here but using our address so it made me more paranoid than usual. as soon as i replied to about 3 successive bills saying that person didn't live here and shredding my mail, it stopped.

lunchie, it would be a good time to check your credit history.

It's just weird. I was hoping someone here has had diapers taken, but I guess I'm the lucky winner to have something like this happen to them. I'm hoping it was a one time occurrence but I have a feeling he will be back. I'll try to take photos of the weirdo for entertainment sake.

I say let him have them, the diapers smell bad when they come off a baby. I can only imagine how horrendous the stench is after fermenting in a trash can for a week, especially in this heat.

Hide in trash can, they open it, yell "raggle fraggle!" and punch em in the dong. Problem solved.
