Sick! Shame on the photographer for not even trying to help the poor guy. And for the New York Post to put the photo on the cover and sensationalize it? I'll concur with Lee Gerowitz: Despicable.

The photog said he was trying to "signal" the train driver with his flash. Yeah, right.
Very sad. I wonder why they don't have escape type ladders placed along the platforms (not sure of how far a part) at the different stations. They could be painted a bright yellow to be easily identifiable and maybe they could have helped this poor guy out?

anyone remember the last episodes of Seinfeld? the gang visits a small town, witnesses a mugging of an old lady and does nothing about it, then gets charged for standing around like idiots during a crime in progress and are given lengthy prison terms? yeah, that's what should happen to this photog.
