    Excellent point, Aaron. Unfortunately, there are too many of our *own* within our borders who need to understand that lesson first. The problem with any strong opinions of any standpoint, is that they're always the loudest and most easily identified. The overwhelming majority of Americans, however, don't reside at the extreme ends of any of the major political and/or social idealogies. Sadly however, most major media news outlets either do exist there, or propagate the idea that they do with their actions and words.

    I know. But I'm talking about the current situation. How many people would say they own a gun in case a tyrannical government is in place? Who would actually go and fight against your own army?

    I agree regarding media=/=opinion of majority of people. I actually didn't accuse the majority, I only said the majority shouldn't think like that. But I did a mistake by saying "you". I think that was a bit inappropriate, as I think most of you on this board are far from the stereotypical American.

    Let's drop it, I agree. I thought that Reality hipcheck includes politics, too. My mistake.


    Anyways, thoughts and prayers to families. Must be a horrible, horrible thing to live with this memory...
