Hey guys. I'm a lifelong Kings fans from North Georgia, and I'm going to be making a trip to LA/Las Vegas the week of the home opener and banner raising ceremony. I've never attempted to get tickets to a Kings home game before, especially a big game like this. So, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on getting tickets, anybody selling tickets to that game, or any other advice on game day at Staples.

Check back a week before the game. And continue to check until the day of the game. It's going to be tough getting tix to the opener. Or buy on StubHub if you definitely want tickets.

Ticket prices won't be as high as the Stanley Cup Finals which started at $349 each face value and was around $450+ on Stubhub. For the regular season, I can see the face value starting at $50 and on Stubhub it'll likely start at $150 or so.
So if you really want to attend, make sure you're prepared to pay that price to see the banner raising ceremony. If I were you, I would keep an eye out on the LGK Ticket Exchange first and another eye out on Stubhub. Hope you have a great time here in October!

In 2013 cheapest seat face value for the ceremony was 150, I know it was against the Blackhawks... But I would still expect a price around there.
Buttttt, I do see you said you are going to Vegass? Perhaps going to Frozen Fury on October 6th? If you go on the main forum our trusty leader Rink Rat is selling tickets for that game and you will be surrounded by the coolest Kings fans on earth!

I actually won't be arriving until October 8th. I was eyeing Frozen Fury, but the group I'm coming with couldn't make that weekend work when we were planning.

As far as StubHub goes, anyone ever have any issues with them? I'm always leery of resellers, but I know that might be my only option if I can't jump on tickets as soon as they go on sale. I'm banking on being able to by direct from TicketMaster as soon as they go on sale, but I know they are going to be a really hot ticket.
Thanks for the help so far guys!

Stubhub is the only reseller that I use. My understanding is that their ticket guarantee is rock solid and they have an office right across from Staples if any problems.

Stubhub is definitely Legit. I've used it many times. Their ticket guarantee also states that if for whatever reason your ticket doesn't work you basically get one of equal or greater value. Plus like mentioned they have a window/office in LA live so you won't have any problems.

I will 3rd the Stubhub recommendation. Cant go wrong with them. I just checked this morning and tickets were ~185 for the home opener.

So would you guys suggest going ahead and purchasing off of StubHub or rolling the dice and waiting until single game tickets go on sale at the first of September? I'm assuming what's on StubHub is people who have Season Tickets, most likely, right?
You guys have been really helpful, I appreciate it!

Ive used stubhub for tickets to playoff games and 3 cup games as well as the banner raising in 2013.....as good as it gets...if you have an account and are willing to roll the dice just wait around la live and tickets get pretty cheap as ceremony time approaches
