Default Tickets to the VIP dinner lounge and meet the players ticket pass question

    Hi.

I'm planning on coming the Kings game next season. I have 2 questions?
    1. How much are ticket passes to meet the players after the game and where do I buy them?
    2. How much are VIP lounge dinner passes to eat dinner there and where do I buy them? I heard you can meet Luc Robitaille there.

    Thanks.

Watch this forum when 14/15 tickets start getting released. One person, elkhockey, will likely offer up a couple of seats to various games. Pricing is good, and they usually come with the offer to include the passes to the Chairman's Club downstairs (if I remember right, they're about $30 or $40 extra). I took her up on one game last year, and it was a hell of an experience. Before the game, made our way down to the Chairman's Club: free snacks of all sorts, plus a bar (you have to pay for that though). Then hung out to watch the players take the ice from the tunnel - very cool experience. Then we made our way up to the seats - 4 rows from the glass (and by that time, CBJ [JMFJ] had already scored). enjoyed the game immensely (nice OT win and we all went nuts), then went back down to the tunnel to watch the goings on (I was hoping to get Doughty to sign my jersey, but he left another route). Saw/interacted with a number of players and staff - Richards, Muzzin, Nolan, Blake, Robitaille, Sutter (Darryl and Chris), Carter - just watching the dynamic down there was a really cool experience. If you get there early before the game, you can head down there too and watch the guys warm up by playing soccer in the hallway. If you don't want to wait and see if they get offered up in this forum, I would suggest calling the ticket office and asking them. But with there being a waiting list for STH, places like this forum may likely be the best, if not only, bet.

I'm not sure about the VIP dinner passes, but I'm sure someone will chime in on those.

Luc is almost always eating dinner in the Lexus club pre-game. I think he is usually entertaining someone, however, so you can say hello to him in the buffet line.

If I buy the Chairman's Club downstairs ticket pass, can you go to the players dressing room to give out autographs after the game? If so, how good are the Kings at signing autographs after the game?

I don't think it gives you access to the dressing room but as mentioned some of the players go to the club afterwards.

No, it doesn't give access to the locker room. I don't know of anything that gets you locker room access, short of a press pass or something really special (I saw a family go in there when I was there, but it looked like their daughter had some kind of illness). However, you're hanging out in the tunnel, and quite a number of the players will be right there, within earshot. While I was there, I only wanted Doughty's autograph since I was wearing his sweater, and Robitaille's on a commemorative 500th goal puck I had. But a number of other players and staff went by me: Richards, Fraser, Muzzin, Blake, Chris Sutter, Darryl Sutter, Nolan (Nolan stopped to sign this kid's jersey right next to me. The kid, who had to be about 8 or 9 goes, "Great game Jordan!" and slapped him on the shoulders while he was kneeling down and signing the sweater. All of us around, including Nolan, were cracking up). I think mine may have been a little bit different in terms of availability, as it was the last game before the Olympic break. They seemed to be having a pot luck, as all the wives/girlfriends were down there, and everyone seemed to have a dish of some kind. Doughty bailed out the other way, so no luck. I figure he probably had to get out of there quickly since they were probably practicing very soon. Come to think of it, most of the players that were heading to Sochi were gone quickly - the only one I saw was Carter, but only briefly. Brown, Kopi, Voynov, Quick and Doughty were ghosts.

On a regular night, I'm sure you'd have a lot more luck, and many of them will be in the Chairman's club where you can hang out with them. Also, if you get there early, head down there and catch them while they're playing soccer in the tunnel. Probably easy to get an autograph or two...or 10...then.

Are you even allowed to ask the players for autographs while they're playing soccer or before or after they play soccer? If so, do they usually sign?

Having not been there for this, I can't say for sure. But...I don't see why not. It's just like after the game - if they come by, it doesn't hurt to ask. There will likely be some barricades set up down there, and there will be Red Jackets a-plenty, but as long as you don't try getting past them, I don't see anything they'd have a problem with. I would suggest trying to get their attention without screaming. Everything I've heard tells me that these guys are good with signing.
