$40 for a upper end seat (split squad vs. the Yotes).

Got to be joking me. This year is going to suck for prices.

On that note, here's the pricing we're looking at according to AXS and the American Express presale. The home opener is, as expected, quite pricey this year:

Don't expect much. I looked up a couple of games through American Express preferred seating presale, and there were only single seats available.

The American Express presales always seem to have very limited inventory often just singles available. It always seem to be the case that many more tickets are made available when they go on sale to the STH and the other presales. I found this to be true this time as well, as there was a lot of availability, even for opening night even though the AMEX offer had few of those seats available. Though I will say the new ticket system is really awful.

Does anyone know if AXS is associated with American Express or Ticketmaster? It feels weird to have had to create a whole new account just for ordering tickets online. In any case, I'm not complaining. I just ordered a single ticket for the home opener just now on my lunch break, and I'll count myself simply as glad to be in.
