Locking a thread
I have been posting here maybe over a year now and I was wondering why someone can lock a thread. Is that something anyone on here can do, and what is the purpose.

Only moderators can lock a thread. Usually done because it is repetitive of existing threads, not relevant, or posters start getting a little overheated.

Thanks, I was wondering why that happened.

I don't mean to be an ass or anything, or maybe I do, but you've only been for three months.......how have you been posting for over a year now?

I was on here last year and stopped posting for awhile. I had to sign up again. So I have been posting comments for over a year if you count last year.

This is probably a nice place for a lock right here!
