Most of the time the thread is merged into another thread with the same topic. It makes things easier for everyone who wants to read some topics and not others.

Sometimes, the question in the thread is answered (like your thread), therefore the thread is useless. (Like this one).

Here's the deal. If i see thread about what time the game starts and I am interested in that information, then I will read it. When the thread doesn't actually reveal that information, then (after going through several pages of non-relevant posts) I find this out is not only a waste of my time but any other person who reads it looking for the same information. Delete.
