How come when I go to post a quick reply or reply with quote or go to edit a reply I made the box is black and in the case of an edit thread I can't even see what I had written, it is all black.

I'd PM rinkrat and let him know. he's been tweaking things lately, and something might not be turned on beings you are a noob.
