MANCHESTER, NH – The Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Manchester Monarchs, netted nearly $40,000 from Pink In The Rink which was held on January 22 when the Monarchs hosted the Binghamton Senators at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs recorded their first sellout of the season, drawing 9,852 fans to raise money for breast cancer research. The donations from ticket sales and the auctions will benefit the Breast Care Center at Catholic Medical Center, Dartmouth Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Monarchs Care Foundation.
