Good for Manchester..theyre first in points the AHL. Apart from the Kings prospects I am not too familiar with their systems so have to ask-do they use the same System Sutter preaches or are they doing something different? They are 3rd highest scoring team in the AHL...if its the same system it opens up the door for a Number of questions no?

    Henry1515 and mugs like this.
What sets him apart is that he’s big, and he can skate, and he can protect the puck from anyone. If you’re trying to get it and he doesn’t want you to get, you’re not going to. -Justin Williams on Kopitar

It sure does. I'm super excited about Deslaruries. Hits like a truck, has size, skates well....and most important, he's SECOND in the AHL in shots on goal. He's obviously not a sniper given he hasn't pumped in many goals but a guy that has all those tools is a constant ball of energy out there....something the boring ass Kings miss many nights.

He is my favorite prospect there as well....he is tough as well. Between him, Andreoff, and Sabourin, the Narchs are one of the tougher teams in the league.

Right before the Olympic break, a Lawyer type geek (the firm has 4 seats in front of us) was trying hard to impress a date. When the Kings were warming up, he pointed at T.T. and referred to him as Taylor Toff (as in off)-a-lee. I had just taken a big swig of my beer and damn near spit it out. My wife, who heard the whole thing said "Tyler Toffoli richard-head"! He looked back at her with a look that he wished could have killed. Too funny. He never looked back at us through the whole game.

The Monarchs are supposed to have a system installed which provides a "seamless transition" for players in their AHL system that are headed to NHL, right? I inhabit on the West Coast.

TT named AHL player of the week, awesome!
