Thanks again Dan for the tickets, we had a blast. Man, we were in line at the BBQ place when the Reign scored their first two goals in the second period, d'oh!!!

Even though we lost it was a really close game the whole way through. It was nice meeting the Keeper of the cup Phil Pritchard. Kyle Cliffords goal was really nice too. I was lucky to be sitting right behind the goal he scored in. Great view of it.

Friday's game was one of the best I've seen at CBBA in four years. Carrozzi wasn't sharp, but the team rallied to pick up the win in OT. Very entertaining tilt. Last night's contest wasn't too shabby, either. (A preview of the Western Conference finals this spring?) The miscue behind our net in Period 2 (which tied the game) was pretty pathetic, but at least we came away with a point to keep Stockton at bay. Enjoyed seeing Bailey there, and Clifford's goal was a beaut.

Good catching up with some old time LGKers I havent seen in forever and meeting some new ones. Decent crowd surprised it didnt sellout though. Reign have been starting slow the last few games and coming back too much lately. They look very timid the 1st period against a bigger faster Alaska team. Alaska as a team teams a better NHL style game. Could be because
they have so many players return every year and have 4 Nhlers. Clearly those two teams are the class of the West.
Now we need to get you out there more often

The Stanley Cup thing was not handled very well, in my opinion. I got there right at 4 to discover to my horror that the line stretched 26 miles. Now, that's to be expected, but the e-mail I got from my rep made it very clear there would be a shortcut available that wasn't. Somebody didn't know what they were talking about. There was also free food available... but only until six, and it took almost two hours to get though the line! I was stuffing won tons into my mouth as fast as possible in the five minutes between getting out of the line and puck drop...

There was free food ? where. The line could have been handled better for sure. Like a separate line for STHs at least until 4.

Gotta get there early, we showed up about 20 after 3 and it only took us like 20 minutes or so to get the pic once we were in the stadium. There was no way we were showing up at 4.
