Thread: Berube is friggin' awful

I realize this has been a limited sample size, but this guy just doesn't seem to have any fundimentals. He isn't square to the shooter, he doesn't guard his post, he plays too deep in his net, he doesn't pick good angles, and he doesn't have the reflexes to make up for any of that. He looks like a rec league goalie embarassing himself playing with professionals.

How did this guy get a contract? Weren't the Kings coaches watching him at all the past two years? I've seen a lot of crappy goalies come through the Kings system in the last 20 years, but this is the first one I've seen who just flat-out looks like he hasn't been taught the position. He is just absolutely brutal and I don't see how anybody is going to fix him over the next three seasons to try and make him usable at any professional level.
