This guy gets a bad rap. He's not anywhere near as bad as some Reign fans make him out to be. He's the Modry of the Reign.
He was a +72 the two years before, ya know... tops on his team by a mile. Nobody else even close.
On the Reign, in three years, he's a -13... which pretty much makes him Ray Bourque over that time span, considering the lousy D this team has.
Don't even start with that "plus minus is a worthless stat" garbage, either. It's useful as a metric if taken in the proper context... such as comparing players at the same position on the same team over the same time period... and then back it up with actual observation.
Starling isn't great, but he's way better than all the silly hate that gets thrown at him.
Yog I agree with you BUT for someone that big he sure doesn't know how to use his size to his advantage. He could use the hip check like Blake he or stop a onrushing player occasionally he would not get the flack he does.
So far the Reign have 5 returning players, we'll see how the roster fills out
I have wishful thinking that the reason the Kings drafted a few overagers was to get them on the Reign. Doubtful.
Go Kings

I'd expect to see Andreoff.
