First! Coach?
So, do you think Karl Taylor will be around for another season? (And can I just say right now that I'm a little hurt there was never one of these when we were the affiliate.

it seems like the players tuned him out last season... if they come out of the gate on fire he stays, but if they have a ****storm like last season, see ya dude.

His contract was already renewed and the owners (AEG) love him. I did get a nice little chat with him during select-a-seat about his coaching of Richard (God) Peverley.

I'm just amazed that there isn't even talk of a coaching change after a season like the last one. I guess there hoping the fans are still in the honeymoon phase and will just accept whatever they get?

The FO has gotten PLENTY of feedback on WHY we need a new coach. They refuse to listen. They will feeda us lines about how its not him it players are leaving to Europe or it wasn't HIS system. All kinds of stories NONE of which include We need a new leader BUT AEG extended him so we are stuck with him.
In his defense we get NO LOVE from the Kings or Manchester and every other team in the league got far better support from their affiliates.
The players don't like him most of the fans want him gone and in typical AEG fashion they do not care as long as they remain #1 in attendance. 2 out 3 years no playoffs but #1 in attendance.
next season will another crop of unknown and hopefully some success and support from the Kings. Like the Kings no matter what I will be there to support bitching and complaining the whole time.

You have the opposite problem that we do. You're 3000 miles from your AHL affiliate, so you don't get many guys sent down. On the other hand, we're 300 miles from half the teams in the AHL, so everyone comes calling our number. Especially since Reading has made it clear they're a cheap and easy date.
And just for the record, you're not the first ECHL team that AEG/Kings/Monarchs have ignored.
