between cloud and beeman coming back, and krammer and stretch getting a new line mate i can't say publicly (but an echl vet who has nhl and ahl experience) its going to be a stellar year. it seems like no one is going to take liberties on our stars, like the steelheads did last season.
With the NHL season unfortunately in limbo, I'm looking forward to the upcoming Reign/ECHL campaign even more than usual. Will be interested to see who this mystery forward turns out to be. Hopefully someone with goal scoring ability, a la Ryan Kinasewich, who's currently playing over in Austria (and off to a fast start--again.) After the disappointing playoff run last year, it'd be nice to take the next step and not only qualify, but also get out of the first round. Another potential plus is the fact that, if the NHL lockout goes on for awhile, and with Manchester bursting at the seams roster wise, I don't think we'd have to be as worried about players being called up to the "A" as often as we have in past years. I realize that that's what AA players covet, but from a fan's perspective, it makes it tough to maintain continuity/momentum. Just a thought.
Let's go, Reign!
No, that was it. Didderkins just didn't want to say it ;)
Does Lukacevic have NHL experience?
They need to get on with the signing announcements, we would really like to see how the team is looking player wise.
i heard a rumour that another signing is being finalized from a player who's older brother is in our system as well...
who ?
