Writer in Search of Die-Hard, Frustrated Kings Fans
I'm working on a story about Kings fans migrating to Citizens Bank Arena during the lockout for their hockey fix in the wake of the high throttle 2011-2012 Stanley Cup run.
I would like to get perspective from the inside on the Reign (or Monarchs) fan experience, thoughts on the theory that "L.A. is not a hockey town," frustrations with the canceled NHL games, thoughts on fair-weathered fans, etc.
If you, or someone you know, fits the bill of a die-hard Kings fan now turning to the team's ECHL and AHL relatives during the labor dispute, reply to this thread or email me at jmh1084 (at) gmail (dot) com. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for reading.
