Fiala took a second too late on his shot attempt and got robbed by Markstrom. Come on, show them no mercy, LA.

Now their 5-on-3 is wasted. Too bad.
 
Unfortunately, Calgary was able to weather the storm against LA's 2 PP chances this period. But at least the Kings were willing to shoot the puck more often.
 
Not near enough movement on that 5 on 3. Refs will be looking to give the Flames some power plays. I don't really go late in the 3rd two goals up and then the Flames go 6 on 4 with a pp.
 
Well, end of 2nd. Good thing the Kings increased their lead to 3-0. Unfortunately, they couldn't get it to four goals despite their best chances in their PP this period, especially on their 5-on-3 attempt. 20 minutes left and the Kings are just a period away from clinching a playoff spot, if they can hold on to their lead, that is.
 
Looks like PLD didn’t get an assist on that Thomas goal. He very clearly dropped the puck to Roy at the point.
 
Kings now 1 for 4 on the PP. 3-0 still and though it looks like a real comfortable lead, for LA, they have a bad habit of not making things easy on themselves. Remember, Kings, this is one game you definitely need to win to get in after you failed to do so in Anaheim two nights ago.
