I just finished reading “The Violent Bear it Away” by Flannery O’Connor and “The Sounds of Waves” by Yukio Mishima.

Flannery O’Connor rules all sorts of awesomeness!

And I am currently reading Scott Fitzerald's "This Side of Paradise" and Stephen King's "Dolores Clairborne."

Books, like boobs, are best when they come in pairs.
I am a man of substance, of flesh and bone, fiber and liquids
- and I might even be said to possess a mind.

I am invisible, simply because people refuse to see me.

100 pages down, 970 to go. This could be a while.

Right now I'm reading Genghis Birth of an Empire by Conn Iggulden. Historical fiction a good read with it's battles and great story.

    Postcards from Moscow.
It's letters written from the US Ambassador to the Soviet Union's wife from 1949-1951. It's fascinating to take in her assessment of post WWII Russia. I bought it for 3 dollars in an antique store in Bakersfield.
