I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
It's not the distribution, it's the production. KRBC's increased popularity has predictably led to supply issues, and the brewpub has become a bigger source of the sales, hence no Citra making in down the hill the last two releases. Plans are already going forward on expansion, so be patient.
I have the feeling it's both the limited production capabilities and the fiasco that the Citra release created. Used to be finding Class V and JOIPA on the shelf wasn't that big a deal. Ever since they released Citra it's a blue moon if I see anything of theirs on the shelf. I thought about making the drive up there but unless I'm camping there it's hard to justify the 3 hour drive to buy beer.
I know the beer is crap, but when you're in Cancun it's amazing. And yes those are the Kings boardshorts. They rock too.
Is that a mini can?
a year ago or so, they told me no way for an expansion. now what's the latest? this is going to be real interesting. the lot that KRBC is sitting on is quite sizable and more.
road trip! I've gone up there first thing in the morning, picked up the Citras, went fishing, then come home all in one day.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
Can any of you fools get some KBS? Looking to bring some to a beer tasting.
I've been anti Stone Brewing since my wife and I went to their restaurant down in SD and had a HORRIBLE dining experience. But my we were at Rock & Brews in El Segundo the other night and I decided to get one of their beers. I've been on a huge stout and russian imperial stout kick for the past nine months or so. Anything, dark, malty, caramely, coffee etc has been right up my alley.
I digress....
I had a Stone Coffee IPA by Stone called Dayman. It was delicious. I was on an IPA kick before my stout kick. And IPA's have just been an assault on my palette as of late. This was the PERFECT balance between and IPA and the coffee.
Aleman / Two Brothers / Stone - Dayman Coffee IPA - Stone Brewing Co. - Escondido, CA - BeerAdvocate
My newest fav=Boont Amber Ale, Anderson Valley. And Leinekugels Wheat Hefewiesen. Both at the Yardhouse. I also had a double IPA-Green Flash. That one kicked my teeth out but it will be good on a hot summer day.
