Matzo Ball soup from Katella Deli is the bomb. So is their Cabbage Soup.

Pho, menudo and pozole are my favorite soups.

Kreplach soup from Fromans in Santa Monica. Homemade split pea soup is also awesome. My favorite style soup is probably french onion.
And thats how you get ants!

I'm only half joking putting this in this thread. It really is cheap, horrible, salty, dehydrated, noodle soup. But I think I'd be dead by now if I didn't have a steady supply of these cups, in my pantry, at the ready, throughout my life. So while I wouldn't call it my favorite, I'd have to say it's the soup I've probably had the most in my life...

Tom Yum Goong and Tom Kha Gai. I have some good recipes but nothing online.

And despite my heritage I HATEHATEHATE Menudo. Fuzzy meat makes me puke.

It's not the best for you but I love it. When I don't feel like cooking, I'll pick up some Jalapeno Cheese bread from the bakery and it's a meal for the two of us.
