    Default FSC vs FSC+?

Hey everyone, just getting back into watching the game religiously, and was looking for some advice over the two soccer watching options open to me with my current Direct TV set up.

I can get the Sports Pack, which adds 20+ channels, including Fox Soccer Channel and GolTV for about $13, or there's the option for Fox Soccer Channel Plus (single channel) at $15...both per month prices.

Was hoping that someone who has one or both could help sway me one way or the other. I know that both channels, though FSC+ in particular now, carry Rugby as well, which I'm also a big fan of. Honestly, I'd love to pick up both, but moving to a higher tier to get Versus for the NHL Playoffs and the obligatory Center Ice package already has me pushing the edge on what I'd like to be spending for a tv package. Appreciate any input.

FS+ is the offshoot of Setanta. For premiere league games, it's basically every other game not show on FSC.

I have the sports pack and +. I like to watch every Tottenham game during the year, so it's very worthwhile. Plenty of other games I like to tape that I might not normally see.

If it's one or the other, get the sports pack. There are a good number of EPL games on FSC, plus espn2 now carries a game per week in HD (which FSC and FS+ are not, at least on directv). Plus you get some good exposure to other leagues on GolTV: the bundesliga for instance, which I actually find very entertaining. If you're EPL-heavy, consider the + too.

If you can record games and watch them the same weekend I recommend FSC+. I had it for a few months, but I just didn't have the time to watch that many and I couldn't justify the expense.

They're getting a lot of games in HD now too.

Oh, and if you're into La Liga, ESPN Deportes usually shows one of Barcelona or Madrid on weekends. It's channel 432 I think. It's not in HD...

Deportes shows a couple La Liga, Bundesliga and Eredivisie games in addition to the games shown on espn. Combined with the EPL, Serie A and Champions League on FSC it's plenty of coverage for me.
