I like that Torres is back in and some new guys are getting a shot, mixed in with some vets.

I know BS is blowing up on who got snubbed, who shouldn't be there etc etc. but to me this is the beginning of Klinsmann giving everybody a shot and like Wahl mentioned people shouldn't be worrying about the Euro guys getting snubbed till the Costa Rica match.

I'm assuming Dempsey isn't there because the premier league season is about to start. Edit: on 2nd thought, so is the season for Howard?

Altidore - I honestly don't even remember where he's playing now, or when their season starts.

Could be some different looks though judging by the roster. Buddle up top with Donovan and Adu right behind him?

In news that might blow ASUCruz's mind, a buddy also sent me this text:

Tab Ramos, Martin Vasquez, and Thomas Dooley will be Klinsmann's assistants for this game.
    No confirmation on that though.

Altidore went to Holland with AZ.

    okay espn has it

Klinsmann also announced that Tab Ramos, Thomas Dooley, Martin Vasquez, Mike Curry and Mark Verstegen will be his first group of assistant coaches. Klinsmann has said he will use a variety of coaches over the next few months -- the U.S. also has a Sept. 2 exhibition against Costa Rica in Carson, Calif. -- before deciding on his permanent staff.
