Firstly, the more I listen to this album, the more I really, really love it. Also, the more I realize it probably doesn't belong anywhere near the "Hard & Heavy" thread.
But since I've already posted it here, please give this a listen. Beginning to end. Hell, I'll mail you a disc full of the mp3s to get you to give it a shot.
I'm listening this morning, thinking: "Okay...who really are these guys?" As I mentioned, they've got an early Genesis feel...and I was thinking the lead singer sounded a bit like a very young Peter Gabriel and the drums are very Phil Collins...well it turns out the lead singer/drummer is Simon Collins. Yup. Phil's kid. That said, this is the best thing a Collins has done in music in a long, long time.

Fans of 80's thrash should give these guys a listen. They've managed to capture the genre's sound without sounding terribly derivative. An instant thrash classic (imo) in 2013. Who'd of thought?
