One or both of those guys need to be traded for some mid-level prospects...

Is Billingsley supposed to be healthy enough to pitch next season?

He was throwing 94 without pain back in October. Remains to be seen if he can stay healthy all year, though.

Spring Training cannot get here soon enough. New ownership and no NHL has got me on the verge of buying Dodgers season tickets for the first time in my life. I haven't been this excited for a season since I was a kid.

I might do the same. If I remember correctly, they have a lot of ticket package options.

Dodgers acquire Skip Schumaker from the Cards for minor league SS Jake Lemmerman.

Mark Mcgwire supposedly really pushed this on management. Worked with him for years in STL and did well under his tutelage. Looks like an Ellis/Shumaker platoon at 2nd.

I seriously doubt they'd trade Ethier but it would be irresponsible of Ned not listen to any offers regarding players. Even for Kershaw. Most never pan out anyway. Who knows. Maybe Washington wants Kershaw for Stasberg and Harper. You don't know unless you ask.
