I think the Angels are going to be scary this year in the AL while batting. Their pitching staff however, not so much. I think Weaver and Wilson are a solid #1 and #2 but after that, they're screwed.

IMHO Pujols is the best hitter in the game. Other than his "off" year last year he is the most consistent hitter out there. Constantly driving in runs and getting base hits. I think his "off" year last year was better than like 80% of the league's best year. Hopefully it was because he was on a new team, in a different league, facing new pitchers.

I've always been a Hamilton fan but he can be very streaky. Hopefully being around Pujols can help him curb that a bit. But no doubt he'll be overall a great addition.

As for Trout, the Dodger fan in me says "meh, whatever" but the baseball fan in me says "Wow, kid looks amazing." We will see if he can live up to expectation this year with all eyes on him.

Now back to the Dodger thread...

Very classy of the Rangers fans to bring signs and hurl insults at Hamilton's wife and kids on opening night, he only helped you get to the World Series twice.

Texas raped the Angels and I have a feeling this is going to be a LONG wait for Kings hockey to return lol. I hope the Angels lose every game going forward...so it can speed up firing Mike S

Why fire a manager when the team is so old and top heavy with a mediocre rotation and bullpen? You can only do so much.

They just played 2 series against 2 of the best teams in baseball. Let's calm down a bit and not start calling for people's heads and writing off the season after 6 games. Then again, this is LGK, so wouldn't expect much less!

I'm not taking baseball seriously until the Kings season is over.

Ok, now maybe we start panicking!

The offense is going to need to step up huge. Going to need to win a few 10-9 games.
