NCAA March Madness
Oregon wins the Pac-12 Tourney...get a 12 seed. UCLA wins the regular season title...get shipped to the South region.
CAL loses in first round of tourney to Utah...get a home game in San Jose.
And Arizona gets punked three times by UCLA...and gets to stay out west.
What was the Committee smokin'?

I was pissed cause Miami didn't get the 1 seed in the south. Won the ACC regular season & tournament. Also would have moved Kansas to the 1 seed in the midwest.

Unfortunately the bias against the PAC-12 never ends. I just read a column on espn.com that one dude thinks the PAC-12 teams will go 0-5 in first round! That would blow ...

A major upset is about to happen, Harvard beating New Mexico up by 5 with 26 ticks left.
Harvard has shocked the world by beating New Mexico. 14th seed beats the 3rd seed. First win ever by Harvard in the Big Dance!

The Ben Howland era has come to an end at UCLA. A 20 point loss to a mediocre - at best - Minnesota team.
Recruited mercenaries - one and done in tourney.
Ba Bye Ben...

I can't find the confirmation of the Howland rumor. I am really wondering who they will target? I am hearing the VCU coach ... As an alum I wouldn't be unhappy with that. Anyone who can get them to look like the team is having fun again would be my choice. I liked Howland but he was so frustrating some times.

For a proven winner, I want Billy Donovan.

If you saw how VCU got torn up by Michigan, then you'll have to get used to seeing it that as Smart loves the full court press. Will he recruit enough elite athletes and get them to be conditioned enough for this style of play that works for Louisville? If he could, then we've got a program revival.

Not sure Donavan would leave Florida but would love him. Would love Stevens but would he leave Butler? Decisions, decisions all around. They have got to do something though ... Talked to two season ticket holders and they are done no matter who they bring in. They will buy from stubhub.

Donovan is signed through the 2015 season. It's going to take a lot of money to lure the best ones from the midwest and the east. It's won't be easy but UNC were able to get Roy Wiliams from Kansas so lets see how desperate the incompetent Guerrero plays this hand.
