Hebrew National and Nathan's Natural Casing for home.

I'm not too picky when out, I'm good with most sausage/frank/knockwurst/banger/etc.

Thanks for the tip. Gonna try Fabs sometime.

Although it's not necessarily a good hot dog, Oki-Dog is an LA staple.

The Stand is pretty good at any location.

And, it's not hot dogs, but Brats Brothers is definitely worth a try.

Guy sucks but the hot dogs are really good.

I only get the LA Street dog at this point but I've tried most every dog on the menu.

Portillo's in Buena Park has some good Chicago STyle dogs. I'm with job though in agreeing, Nathan's is the best. Used to get frog legs there too as a kid.

Portillo's is great. Especially with the frosty goblet of ice cold beer.

That's a start, but couldn't they have included Torrance in that???

I should see those guys in the next week or two, I will ask if they are planning to go south any time soon. Seeing as you guys brought it up, is it really that good? I've never eaten there. What should I get when I go?

They are famous for what they call "The ripper" which is a deep fried hot dog. Specifically I like the Bald Eagle Ripper, because it adds their homemade mustard relish. The LA Street Dog is really good too. It's a bacon wrapped dog with peppers/onions/mayo/jalapeno.

Frankly, everything I've had there was terrific, can't imagine you'd go wrong with anything on the menu.
